Broadway Bank is pleased to announce that distinguished local attorney Sara E. Dysart has been appointed to its Board of Directors. Dysart is a commercial real estate attorney, Board Certified in Commercial Real Estate Law by the State Bar of Texas Board of Legal Specialization, Chair of its Real Estate Forms Committee, and a fellow of the American College of Real Estate Lawyers. Dysart’s appointment follows the previously announced retirement of Chairman James D. Goudge, and the appointment of board member David Ladensohn as his successor.

“We are very pleased to have Sara join our board and look forward to her contributions,” said CEO David Bohne. “Sara is a both a leader in the community and a long-time client of Broadway Bank. That combination of experience and local involvement will be invaluable to Broadway Bank as we continue the journey of growing our business by serving the needs of our customers. A big part of that journey is not forgetting what made us a market leader in the first place, and her history with us ensures that.”

A recognized attorney, Dysart has received numerous awards and accolades throughout her career, including most recently being honored by St. Mary’s University as a 2019 Distinguished Graduate. Dysart is also active in the community and currently serves on the boards of the San Antonio Council on Alcohol and Drug Awareness and the San Antonio River Foundation, and is a member of the UTSA Real Estate Founders’ Council, Impact San Antonio, and the United Way Women’s Leadership Council.

“As a long-time customer of Broadway Bank, I am honored to join the Board of Directors, a dedicated team of leaders committed to ensuring the bank’s strength, safety and stability” said Dysart.  “I have personally experienced and benefited from Broadway Bank’s innovative products, services and technology. I look forward to guiding the bank as it continues this culture of being a market leader.”

Dysart graduated magna cum laude from St. Mary’s University. She holds a Master degree from the University of Texas San Antonio and Doctor of Jurisprudence degree from St. Mary’s University School of Law.
