"Distributions shall be made only to organizations which at the time of distribution are described in Sections 170(c), 2055(a) and 2522(a) of Internal Revenue Code and are entitled to exemption from federal income tax..."

for the Marietta K. Randall Foundation Grant
The Marietta K. Randall Foundation Trust makes distributions on an annual basis. These grants are directed to 501(c)(3) organizations which fall within the principal charitable purposes of the foundation as outlined in Article 6 of the document. This Article reads as follows:
"…that consideration be given annually to charitable, cultural, educational, scientific and religious organizations to which I have made contributions during my lifetime, to Catholic organizations and the Catholic Church, the Santa Rosa Children’s Hospital in San Antonio, Texas, the Salvation Army, a Georgia corporation for use in San Antonio, Texas, and the Shriner’s Hospital for Crippled Children in Texas. It is not my intent in making these suggestions to limit in any way the discretion of the Trustee in selecting the Qualified Organizations to receive the net income available for distribution…”
To be considered for a grant, an organization must submit an online grant application and a copy of the organization's current IRS Determination Letter, along with any other documents deemed relevant to the request.
