Executive Vice President
Wealth Management Line of Business Leader
Wolf joined Broadway in 2017 and leads the wealth management line of business. A native of California but Texan at heart, Wolf began his career working alongside two of the largest wirehouses in the world, Smith Barney and Bear Stearns, starting with various asset processing roles and eventually moving to custodial relationship management. Still in the Tech-bubble backdraft of the new millennium, Wolf found his love for analytics while serving the oldest private bank in the country, Brown Brothers Harriman & Co., working portfolio attribution and securities selection by day and becoming a CFA Candidate by night. As Brown Brothers restructured their private client practice in 2007, Wolf was recruited to the #1 rated Wall Street investment research firm, Sanford C. Bernstein & Co., to serve energy clients and two of the firm’s elite private client teams in Houston. As the global financial crisis entered full swing, Wolf deployed the newly branded Bernstein Dynamic Asset Allocation program and served as the group’s hedge fund attaché and leader of the largest and most complex private client associate team outside of New York. Wolf transitioned back to banking when he took a unique opportunity to join the Fortune Global 500 Spanish bank, BBVA, working with senior leadership to synthesize the group’s Asset Management strategy and ultimately lead a national agenda for the Office of CEO and Strategy. Directing key milestone initiatives including those that led to being named “Retail Bank Brand of the Year” by Harris Poll, earned Wolf the added job of leading the group’s U.S. Wealth Management subsidiary. In 2014, close lifelong friendships led Wolf to co-develop a boutique investment advisory company, where he directed growth initiatives including the launch of institutional asset management consulting, partnering with small to mid-size regional banks and broker-dealers. His work has taken him on professional assignments all over the world, including San Francisco, New York, Dallas, Houston, Jacksonville, Lisbon, London, Paris, Madrid, Orlando, and San Antonio.
Wolf’s academic background includes an M.B.A Strategy and Management, from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University, M.S. Information Systems from the University of Colorado Denver (Exec.), M.S. Finance from the University of Houston Clear Lake, B.B.A. Finance from the University of Houston University Park and executive leadership programs at the University of Texas Austin and Católica Lisbon School of Business and Economics.
