In order to allow full access to Economic Impact Payments (“EIP”), Broadway Bank is working to provide a 30-day provisional credit to customers with an existing overdrawn balance. The credit will be in the amount of the overdrawn balance that existed prior to the stimulus check deposit. If you have questions regarding this provisional credit or your eligibility, please contact us at 1 (800) 531-7650.

Helpful Resources

Economic impact payments.

The Treasury Department and the Internal Revenue Service have announced that the economic impact payments, also referred to by some as stimulus payments, will be distributed automatically. No action is required by taxpayers who filed tax returns in 2018 and 2019 and most seniors and retirees.

For detailed information, we recommend visiting the IRS Economic Impact Payment Information Center that provides up-to-date information, including:

  • Who is eligible
  • Payment amounts
  • What to expect
  • How to avoid scams related to the economic impact payments

The IRS will also be releasing the Get My Payment tool in mid-April, to help users to check payment status, confirm payment type and enter updated bank account information. .

Information from a trusted source.

Remember, while our communities come together in a time of need, there are some who exploit these times and take advantage of fears surrounding the Coronavirus. Visit the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) for tips to help you avoid scams.
