Broadway Bank Names Chief Marketing Officer
Nathan Kokemor promoted to expand the organization’s branding and marketing efforts
SAN ANTONIO, TX– Broadway Bank announced the promotion of Nathan Kokemor to Executive Vice President, Chief Marketing Officer.
“Nathan has been a driving force in modernizing Broadway Bank’s brand and integrated marketing strategy, deepening our connections with customers and the communities we serve,” said David Bohne, Broadway Bank CEO. “The way we do banking continues to evolve and Nathan is leading the charge to get Broadway’s innovative products and services to more customers, especially as we continue to expand our footprint in Texas.”
Since joining Broadway in 2017 as the Marketing Communications Director, Nathan has transformed the department to meet the organization’s expanded advertising and corporate communications needs. Recent milestones include a corporate rebranding in 2020, the launch of a new web experience in 2021, and ongoing development of new digital marketing capabilities. He will continue to oversee the bank’s marketing and communications including brand design, strategic marketing, web development, social media, internal communications, employee events, and employee volunteering.

This announcement is Broadway Bank’s latest promotion of internal leaders as the bank experienced a record year of growth in 2021 and doubles down on expansion efforts across Texas. In December 2021, Broadway promoted three leaders for market expansion—Steve York as New Market Integration Executive, Josh Loden as San Antonio Market and Chief Banking Officer, and Blake Absher as Austin Market President. Earlier this month, Broadway announced three new appointments to the board of directors to help guide strategic growth.
