Money Orders or Checks Drawn on Broadway Bank

These items are generally made available by the next business day. In some circumstances, there may be an additional delay (e.g., due to a federal holiday)

Checks Drawn on Another Bank

Checks or money orders drawn on another bank are generally available on the first business day after the date of your deposit if deposited by 6 p.m.
Some deposits may be subject to a hold. Hold times can vary based on several factors including, but not limited to:
  • The dollar amount of the checks deposited
  • A customer's overall relationship and standing with Broadway Bank
  • Length of relationship with the bank—new customers may be subject to additional hold times within the first 30 calendar days after account opening. For example:
    • ATM and Mobile Check deposits are generally available on the fifth business day for new customer
    • Customers will be notified of holds placed on deposits made at a Financial Center
    • For additional details, please refer to the Terms and Conditions of your account provided during account opening.
