Broadway Bank Expands Houston Market Team with Commercial Banking Hire

Kenrick Morgan, 16-year veteran, to drive Broadway’s growth in Houston

Broadway Bank is pleased to announce a key hire as the bank positions for growth in this target market. Kenrick Morgan has joined Broadway Bank as a Vice President in our Houston Commercial Banking group.

Kenrick brings over 16 years of banking experience and a strong background in commercial banking and wealth management. He will be responsible for managing and growing commercial relationships with annual revenues of $5MM to $250MM in the Houston market. Kenrick has extensive expertise in building and deepening client relationships, and providing strategic financial advice.

Before joining Broadway Bank, Kenrick served as a VP Commercial Banker at two super-regional banks. He holds an Omega certification and completed the Formal Credit Training. Kenrick is pursuing a degree in accounting and finance from the University of Houston-Clear Lake.

Outside of work, Kenrick is actively involved with the Houston and Pearland Chambers of Commerce as well as the Houston Apartment Association. His family, including his wife and two sons, is the pride and joy of his life.

Broadway Bank entered the Houston market in 2023 with a focus on Commercial Banking, the latest market entry for the independently-owned bank following its expansion into Dallas in 2022.
