Broadway Bank Named to Newsweek’s List of America's Best Regional Banks 2024

Broadway Bank has been recognized as one of America’s Best Regional Banks 2024 by Newsweek and Plant-A Insights Group, receiving a five star rating. This survey of over 35,000 individuals included over 140,000 reviews of almost 10,000 regional banks and credit unions.

This award recognizes Broadway Bank’s impact and commitment to delivering a modern banking experience that’s locally sourced and personally delivered.

Survey criteria covered profitability, financial relevance, risk exposures to financial uncertainties and overall health and stability of the financial institution:

• Texas Ratio: The Texas ratio is a measure of a bank’s credit quality and ability to absorb potential losses on its non-performing assets.
• Profitability: This measures an institution's ability to build and maintain financial reserves, which act as a buffer against potential losses and economic downturns.
• Net loan and lease: The net loans and leases amount given by a bank is a key measure of its lending activity and overall financial health.
• Media monitoring: Press coverage of all institutions over the last two years identifies potential customer risks or legal and reputational risks. Institutions with negative findings were removed from the ranking.

In addition, social media reviews and Apple App and Google Play store reviews were collected for the scoring model. The top 250 regional banks were selected for the 2024 list.
