Headwall Investments, LLC (“Headwall”) is an investment firm headquartered in San Antonio and backed by George J. Originally from Midland, Texas, George grew up surrounded by the oil and gas industry. The closeness of the oil field industry and the mentorship he gained from his father influenced his professional career. He watched his father thrive as an entrepreneur, founding Southwest Royalties Inc.—a large upstream company– and Basic Energy Services Inc., which he took public.

Even though his upbringing was in the middle of the oil-filled capital of America, George knew at an early age that he wanted to be in commercial real estate. That’s where his journey began right after graduating from The University of Texas at Austin.
His passion for commercial real estate led him to San Antonio where he spent the past decade intricately involved in various stages of the commercial real estate and oil & gas industry. He has been instrumental in leading various private equity-backed and privately funded companies. He founded, built and sold Petro Waste Environmental LP in a five-year period from 2013-2019.
Shortly after in 2019, George founded Headwall Investments, LLC and serves as the President & CEO. The company has already celebrated many successful milestones and project announcements, most recently acquiring two assets in the San Antonio area totaling 70,000 square feet. Headwall Investments continues to solidify its commitment to the San Antonio metropolitan area by preserving the city’s rich history and enriching neighborhoods with significant redevelopments.
