Spotlighting San Antonio's Female Leaders

This Women's History Month, Broadway Bank is proud to spotlight our history of female leadership and the inspiring women shaping San Antonio's business landscape. One such leader in our community is Beth Ochoa, Partner and CEO of GDC Marketing & Ideation. Beth is not only a Broadway Bank customer, but an award-winning entrepreneur and visionary within Texas.

GDC offices

Beth's journey began at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, where she honed her communication skills with a degree in radio, TV and film. That foundation, combined with her entrepreneurial spirit and keen business sense, led her to GDC Marketing & Ideation in 1999. Over the years, Beth's leadership has been instrumental in the company's success. From leading national marketing efforts for major brands to building a strong and talented team within her company, her dedication and expertise have made GDC a force to be reckoned with.

But Beth's impact extends far beyond the boardroom. As a prominent female leader in San Antonio, she champions the importance of empowering women. "I believe it all starts with giving women the opportunity to succeed and shine every day," she says. "Celebrate their wins, reward their leadership and empower them to break down barriers each and every day."

Broadway Bank shares this commitment to supporting women-owned businesses in Texas. Helping local businesses is not just about economics; it's about empowering individuals who are making a difference. Beth Ochoa's journey as a female business owner exemplifies the impact that can be achieved when passion meets opportunity.

She believes that by supporting local female-owned businesses and women who are breaking barriers and driving gender equality, we contribute to the betterment of our community. "If I can stimulate our local economy while also supporting the women in our community who lead by example to break through barriers and advance the cause of gender equality, I see that as money well spent," Beth explains.

Why Beth chooses Broadway Bank

One of the key factors behind Beth's success is her commitment to building strong relationships. This extends to her banking partner as well. "I like banking with Broadway Bank because they know my name when I walk into the branch," says Beth. "That really matters, because my business is personal to me, and they treat it that way."  This personalized service and local connection are signatures of the Broadway Bank experience. The connection between Beth and her Broadway Bank team goes beyond transactions; it's a relationship built on understanding, trust and shared values.
