SBA Opens Business Recovery Center in Kerrville to Support Local Storm Relief

The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) has opened a Business Recovery Center (BRC) in Kerrville, Texas, to assist those affected by the severe storms, flooding, and straight-line winds that began on July 2, 2025. The center, which opened on July 11, is designed to help small businesses, nonprofits, homeowners, and renters apply for low-interest federal disaster loans to aid in recovery.

Hours of Operation:

  1. Monday–Friday: 9 a.m. – 6 p.m.
  2. Saturday: 9 a.m. – 1 p.m.

SBA customer service representatives will be on-site to answer questions and guide individuals through the loan application process. No appointment is necessary, but those who prefer to schedule can do so at appointment.sba.gov.

The SBA is offering physical disaster loans of up to $2 million for businesses and nonprofits to repair or replace damaged property, equipment, or inventory. Homeowners may apply for up to $500,000, and renters up to $100,000, to repair or replace personal property, including furniture, vehicles, and appliances.

Application Deadlines:

  1. Physical Damage: September 4, 2025
  2. Economic Injury: April 6, 2026
